About 20% of women have a tilted uterus and the good news is that health care providers no longer feel that it will decrease your chances of conception. Current thinking in the medical community is that most fertility and miscarriage problems in women with a tilted uterus are related to the cause of the tilted uterus, such as fibroids or infection. So make a GYN appointment for an ultrasound and lab workup to make sure nothing else is going on, but otherwise you can start babymaking. Some women with tilted uteruses have reported better success having intercourse “doggy style,” with the woman on her hands and knees, but that hasn’t been backed up by research.
