I have a FSH level of 12.7, my RE recommended that I do IVF. Do you think I should start less aggressive with clomid?

It may work, but several months on it may cause your FSH to jump even higher. If you do try it, you’ll need to take several months off before your next treatment. Acupuncture is showing some remarkable results with lowering FSh levels – I would consider that. Before I looked at IVF, I would consider mini-IVF. It can be very effective especially for women with high FSH and is generally about $5000 less than traditional IVF. Mini IVF, or low stim doesn’t use the super powerful gonadotropins to trigger tons of eggs, but instead focuses on just a few quality eggs.
