I had a postive pregnancy test on 2/17/09 my hcg level that day was 65, they tested again on 2/19 on that day it was 71, than again on 2/21 and it was 92. Does these low levels mean that i have a tubal pregnancy? I have had one in the past.

Looks like you’re in the same boat as I am. I took my pregnancy test on 2/17 as well. 2/17: HCG – 489 2/19: HCG – 598 2/22: HCG – 761.2 I was not tracking anything (LMP, dates ofp possible conception) since they told me I had a less than 1% chance of getting pregnant. Did you’re levels rise this week?

Not sure yet where they are at today, i went in about an hour ago and had them done again now im just waiting to see, but it seems that your levels are much highier than mine, i hate the waiting.

Doubling is great!! That’s really good news. Hang in there. Sounds like you’re headed in the right direction. I go today for another test and then tomorrow for an ultrasound. My levels are only increasing by 20% each time which is not good.

An hCG level is one way of diagnosing an ectopic pregnancy, but a couple numbers can’t tell you yes or no. Generally, if the hCG is above a threshold level (usually 1500 mIU/mL), but no pregnancy is seen with ultrasound, an ectopic pregnancy is suspected. A value below this level may indicate either an ectopic pregnancy or early intrauterine pregnancy. When this happens, the ultrasound and hCG are repeated every few days until an ectopic pregnancy can be either confirmed or ruled out. Need Help? A Counselor is Waiting All Sessions Start for Free
