Raising money, whether for a non-profit, or a personal fertility journey is a challenging task. On a personal level, getting the book, “Budgeting for Infertility” (check your library first!) is a helpful tool. The book helps you think outside the box and consider ways to save money on medications, treatments, and testing. It explains how to navigate insurance companies and how to find clinical trials. It explains fertility grants and scholarships and how to find them. But above all, it gives you the confidence to take charge of the financial side and understand how to budget for treatments. For a non-profit, you may want to consider partnering with some of the existing organizations already out there and look for ways to pool your time, energy and resources.
