Why won't my clinic give me a blood test to see if I am pregnant? 25 days late period with increasing signs/symptoms but neg urine.

The reason is probably

The reason is probably because the odds are pretty slim.
23 Days past ovulation, with a negative pregnancy test, your odds of actually being pregnant are less than 1%. A negative home test result can mean three things. Either you are not pregnant, or you took the test too early or you took the test wrong. So, retake the test, follow the instructions exactly, and see if the answer changes.

If the answer is no, but you aren't convinced, you can always go back to your doctor or to a local independent clinic and request a blood test. It may not be covered by insurance, however, but it may give you piece of mind.
