what causes overies to shut down at age 22 and also has advanced bone aging

It sounds a lot like

It sounds a lot like premature ovarian failure, sometimes called early menopause. Technically, it is referred to as premature ovarian insufficiency. Women with POI stop having periods. Sometimes their periods may be normal for a few months and then skip a few
months. They may also have hot flashes or night sweats. It is possible to still have periods and have hot flashes. Other symptoms may
include sleeping problems, mood swings, vaginal dryness, energy loss, low sex drive, painful sex, and bladder control problems.

In about three months, I have a new book coming out called “Before Your Time: A Survival Guide to Premature Menopause.” It will provide tons of information that you should find useful.

Doctors at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) are conducting a clinical research program whose goal is to develop improved treatments for young women with primary ovarian insufficiency (POI). These studies will also help doctors and patients learn more about POI. Their research is clarifying how POI differs from menopause. For more info, go to: http://poi.nichd.nih.gov/
