are scanty periods a sign f menapause?

Scanty periods may be a sign

Scanty periods may be a sign of menopause, but I wouldn't jump to that conclusion. You may have a hormonal imbalance though, that needs attention. Your menstrual cycle is an important sign of your health. If your cycle varies just one in a while, chalk it up to stress or a random fluke. But if your cycle changes and is no longer what you consider normal for you, then a call to your doctor is in order.

Make sure you track your cycle - that's good advice for every woman, trying to conceive or not. Do you tend to have the same length of cycle every month? How many days do you bleed? That way, if something is different, you have good records of what's normal for you.
