When it comes to a potential

When it comes to a potential pregnancy, it certainly is possible that you could be pregnant, although the dates do not seem to be ideal for a pregnancy. That being said, since you are now 5 days late for your period, the best thing to do is to pick up a home pregnancy test and find out for sure. They are not as reliable as a blood hormone test, but they are very reliable.

Keep in mind that your period may be delayed for a few days because of stress, poor health, or other factors.
If the home pregnancy test is negative, but you do not get your period, you may wish to contact your health care provider for a blood test.
