My husband and I have been trying for 2 years to have a baby and finally it happen when I hung off the side of the bed, hoping the sperm will reach the egg. So I was wondering if I would have to do the same thing wit the next conception?

Maybe - or it could have been

Maybe - or it could have been just perfect timing and everything happened exactly as it was supposed to. There is some thought, though not a lot of research that suggests both the position of intercourse as well as lifting you hips on a pillow afterwards may help conception.

In terms of position for intercourse, missionary (man on top) may be the best, as it seems to aid gravity in depositing sperm where it needs to be, as opposed to woman on top positions.

Also, it is better to have intercourse every other day around the time you are ovulating and not every day.
Good luck!
