I have very irregular cycles & even when I do have a cycle I still dont ovulate. I took 50 mg of clomid last year with no success, I am currently on day 4 of a random cycle & Im wondering if it would be ok for me to start taking 100 mg of clomid today?

Did you just happen to have a prescription for Clomid hanging around? Never mind, don't tell me. Theoretically, in a medicated cycles, a woman could take 100 mg of Clomid on days 4-7 or so, but it should be under doctor's orders. Why? Because Clomid, while sort of a mini-infertility drug, is a prescription medication and has the possibility of side effects -even some serious ones.
In fact, I've lost an ovary and tube after a medicated Clomid cycle, so I know of what I speak. So, please contact a health care provider and create a plan that works for you.
