I had surgical complications last year and had both of my tubes removed. I missed my period last month and I was told I am pregnant is this possible?

Not without an IVF. In

Not without an IVF. In natural reproduction, at least one somewhat healthy fallopian tube is necessary. The tube connects the ovary to the uterus as the egg passes through it in a woman's body. IVF involves fertilizing an egg outside of the fallopian tubes and then implanting the embryo inside the uterus.

Are you sure your tubes were removed? Sometimes, like in a tubal ligation (where your tubes are tied), eggs can sometimes still get through. The failure rates are around .1% or 1 in 1000.

What matters most is confirming your pregnancy. Home prgnancy tests can be wrong. A dcotor's office can do a BETA blood test and if you are far enough along, an ultrasound to determine what's happening.
