does the pill injection make you infertile?

Depo-Provera is a three month

Depo-Provera is a three month injection often used to prevent pregnancy. It's handy - four shots a year and birth control is taken care of. Women who want to become pregnant may stop using Depo Provera at any time. But for some women, fertility returns immediately, and for others, it may take longer - 6 months or a year.

However, if your periods were irregular or inconsistent before you went on the shot, it may be that she shot just masked your menstrual problems. While the shot may delay your fertility, it won't make you infertile.
