My doctor prescribed 50mg clomid. I am on CD 29 and have not ovulated. My cycles are extremely irregular and there is no telling when I will have a period. Can I go ahead and start my 5 day doses or do I need to wait until I get my period?

It isn't unusual to have a cycle that is 32 days long.

Most of the time, a health care provider will prescribe progesterone to initiate a bleed if a cycle has not yet started. Talk to your physician who prescribed the Clomid about when to he or she wants you to begin.
