Help him come to his senses

perfume

The multi-billion dollar perfume industry thrives for a reason. People love the alluring scents of tuberose, sandalwood, peony and orchid. However, if you’re hoping to attract members of the opposite sex, studies show natural body odor have the highest attraction to men.

According to a study in Psychological Science, a journal of the Association for the Psychological Science, levels of testosterone in men increase when those men detect "odor signals emitted by females, particularly when they are ovulating." In the animal and human kingdoms, we can’t get over our basic nature: survival and procreation. It appears that men find us irresistible when we can offer them immortality through the survival of their genes.

The study involved smelling t-shirts. T-shirts were gathered from women who wore them for three nights during the time of their ovulation. A set also came from non-ovulating women and then trick shirts which weren’t worn by anyone. The shirts worn by the ovulating women were not only rated the most pleasant smelling by men, but were also the shirts that stimulated higher testosterone levels.

There is no denying we are driven by basic biology and survival instincts. The need to procreate and ensure the survival of the species dominates even our simple senses. Perhaps it’s time to lead your man by the nose.
