Military discounts on infertility treatment

In Virginia, the Genetics & IVF Institute is starting a limited-time special discount on infertility services for all active duty military personnel and some retired military beginning today, Memorial Day. For several years they have offered the Salute™ military discount which gives a 25% discount for any single cycle IVF treatment including donor egg. They also feature something called the Delivery Promise(SM) provides under certain circumstances a refund if the parents do not deliver and “take home” a baby.

Their typical military discounts will be doubled for qualifying patients who have consults with a fertility experts from Memorial Day through July 5.

At this and other fertility clinics significant discounts are being offered to men and women of the military in recognition of their commitment and sacrifice. Because the families of military personnel are often separated for long periods of time, they put off having families until their tours are complete. There are many times when waiting can lead to challenges with getting pregnant. These offers are meant to help those families.

A quick Google search showed many other clinics offering similar discounts: Davis Fertility Center in California, Center for Human Reproduction in New York, and MCG in Augusta, Georgia. There are many more. If your are interested, check your local fertility centers and find out what your options are.
