Pregnancy Stomach

There is no way around it. Your pregnancy will change the way your body looks and feels. You may not notice much during the first trimester, but one of the most significant ways your body changes is your pregnancy stomach.

One of the concerns about the effects on your pregnancy stomach is stretch marks. Stretch marks can make purple or reddish ugly marks around the breasts and hips but are mostly likely to affect the stomach. The severity of the stretch marks will vary depending on how far the skin was pulled as well as the original condition of the skin. When the skin does go back to where it was originally, either from having a baby or losing weight, those marks will often become more noticeable.

There are a number of different products on the market for treating the telltale signs of a pregnancy stomach. Results vary, but you find that rubbing vitamin E oil or cocoa butter may offer some relief.
