Early Signs of Pregnancy

Everybody knows the two main early signs of pregnancy – morning sickness and a missed period. According to the American Pregnancy Association, pregnancy symptoms differ from woman to woman and pregnancy to pregnancy.

  • Tender, swollen breasts
  • Fatigue
  • Implantation bleeding
  • Nausea
  • Increased sensitivity to odors
  • Abdominal bloating

  • A missed period
  • Your basal body temperature stays high

The best way to determine if your symptoms are early signs of pregnancy to urinate on an over the counter home pregnancy test. If the test is negative, but your period still hasn’t started and you feeling strange symptoms, then contact your health care provider. But if those early signs of pregnancy really are a pregnancy, make an appointment with a health care provider right away, start taking multivitamins and clean up your lifestyle.
