ttc- but a really silly question

Hello Everyone:

I have been trying to conceive for the last year seriously. I do have a 3 1/2 year old daughter, who I conceived at the ripe age of 42. I am now 46 and still trying for one more. My dh is 32 and even though he says he doesn't care if we have another, I know that he probably would. Now, I have gone to the Fertility Clinic, I have done, naturopathic stuff, and also Eastern Medicine, aka. Chinese Accupuncture and drinking that Nasty Chinese Tea.

I did get pregnant in July, but lost the babes, and had to have a D&C on Sept. 7th.

Now, I have given up all that stuff and trying on my own. My Question is this: For the last little while, I have noticed that after having sex, like maybe four hours after, my vagina starts to smell. Now, I went to the docs for my complete physical.. I have nothing going on down there, and my husband is clean as a whistle..Does that mean that my body is full of acid and it will kill the sperm and that's why my vagina is smelling like that.. For eg. I had a shower this morning, (we had sex last night) and it still has a bit of a foul odor. Is it me, or is my body telling me I can't get pregnant anymore. Does that make sense to anybody.

I hope someone can help me.

Interesting. I would assume that there was some sort of infection but then again you went to a doctor and they found nothing. Have not had this before. have you thought about going to another doctor.

You know what? I just got back all my test results, and they show everything to be negative.. Its just that sometimes when we have sex, after like 4-5 hours later, does it smell a bit, then it goes away.. So I was wondering if because of that, that would not let me become pregnant...make sense? Like acidity or something.. I have no BV

I am not really sure. It could be a higher acid level. The good thing is that your results are negative which is great.

My guess is it's a yeast infection.
