Dealing with Endometriosis

Hi,

My name is Brianna and I live up in Northern California. I am 29 years old and am trying to deal with the fact that I was told I have endometriosis. It seems that this is the main issue why I have been dealing with infertility. Just looking to see how others have dealt with this.

Hi brianna, Sorry to hear you have endo. What treatment options did your doc suggest? How did you get to know you have endo? What is your stage?

I had stage I and we did a laparoscopy. We got to doing the surgery because of several failed rounds of treatment with clomid and injectibles. I believe it is gone now, but there is always a chance of recurrence after two years and you need to do best within that time.

Hi, Brianna. I'm so sorry to hear of your recent diagnosis. Has your MD done any surgery? How were you diagnosed? I have been experiencing infertility for the past year. I am 33 years old and in overall excellent health. After 6 failed inseminations, my MD did a laparoscopy 3 wks ago and found stage 1-2 endo. He said my next option would be to try insemination w/ hormone therapy. I apologize for throwing a question in here, but I am so overwhelemd right now...I am right now taking oral organic progesterone for precautionary reasons although my past bloodwork has shown good hormonal levels. Will my taking progesterone possibly prevent my period and mimic a false pregnancy? I certainly don't need a false sense of hope after a year of anguish.
