How Much is that Watch in the Window?

If it’s the OV-Watch, a pretty penny.

I love the idea behind it. It is a wrist-mounted, bio-sensing medical device that tracks a woman's individual body chemistry to find the 4 crucial days before ovulation-her most fertile days of the month. OV-Watch has a special processor and biosensor that takes readings from your skin every 30 minutes while you sleep. It tracks chloride ion levels as opposed to LH or estrogen surges.

It’s got a 3 ½ stars on Amazon, with some great feedback, as well as some negative. Now, some women don’t like to because they didn’t get pregnant – keep in mind, the watch isn’t going to “fix” your hormone imbalance or other issues. However, others complain about faulty workmanship. Some infertility forum have some unhappy customers, though and I’m curious if anyone has had positive or negative experiences
To be fair, there are plenty of happy customers (some of who would have gotten pregnant on their own, to be sure), but others who like using it, but have not gotten pregnant yet.

If you’re considering this product, keep in mind that it only works in women with cycles less than 38 days. That info isn’t as clearly promoted as it could be.
