Seattle Networking events for Single Moms

If you are a single woman thinking about or planning to become a mom, you definitely want to consider attending the next Choice Moms workshop in Seattle on August 6, 2011.

Based on interest from the registrants so far, we will be talking that day about:

* Emotions of this journey,
* Talking about sperm and donor conception (including a rep from a local fertility clinic),
* Juggling work/parenting/social,
* budgeting and childcare tips,
* Talking to our kids about dads and donors

We've had more than a dozen of these very interesting conversations, with our like-minded community of women, around the United States, and Toronto.

Currently childcare is not available; if you want to be on the waiting list, indicate on registration. Note that babies under 1 are welcomed, and encouraged, to be with Mom during the afternoon. (At our recent Toronto event we had 6 babies in the room and it was wonderful!)

We'll start at 12:30 with mingling and a light lunch (orange mango cranberry smoothie; smoked salmon, avocado on whole grain bread; red and green apple wedges with bee pollen yogurt dip; whole skin-on almonds), before delving into the deeper discussions and insights, in large and small groups, starting at 1pm. We'll wrap up with final conversation and raffle prizes by 4:00. )

The participants are limited to 25 women, so make sure you get a seat! After July 28, the registration price increases from $35 to $45.
