Get pregnant… without sex!

Of course, almost all people still get pregnant the traditional way–by having sex. But for those who are having infertility problems, just having sex will not give them the baby that they want. Hence, science gives them a solution that would not have been possible a century ago.

Artificial insemination is probably the most popular non-sex method of having babies. In this procedure, the physician directly places the semen inside the woman’s uterus to make it easy for the sperm to fertilize the egg. This does not necessitate any contact between the male and female parents-to-be. In fact, the sperm can come from the woman’s partner or from a completely unknown donor.

Another procedure is in vitro fertilization, wherein the fetus is directly implanted inside the uterus. The meeting of the sperm and egg were done outside the uterus.

The bad news is that these procedures cost tens of thousands of dollars. So if you have not tried other non-invasive and less expensive infertility treatment options, better start with those first before you decide to dive into the non-conventional ones.
