Signaling Infertility

When a woman is unable to conceive after prolonged unprotected intercourse, it is a sign of infertility. Infertility may be a result of health problems in the woman or health problems in the man. There are many reasons why infertility may occur both in men and women.

The signs of infertility in a woman are abnormal menstrual periods, excessive clotting of blood caused by antiphopholipids. Endometriosis or the growth of cells of the uterus outside the uterus is a known cause and polycystic ovarian syndrome, hormonal imbalance and fallopian tube disorders.

The signs of infertility in men are absence of sperm, sperm transportation disorder, gonal dysfunction which is often caused by alcoholism and immobile sperms.

Infertility can be detected only if the couple has not conceived after at least 12 months of unprotected intercourse. Treatment options through medications methods and therapies that assist fertility are available and infertility today is not incurable.
