Just like in women, there are many factors that could lead to infertility in men. Some of you may not have realized this, but something as simple as a small fever or even soaking in a hot tub can lower the sperm count. Also a parallel to factors in women is steadily increasing the infertility rate in men; being overweight. Keeping a normal and healthy weight is a great way to reduce the risk of infertility because every twenty pounds you gain causes more than a ten percent increase in the infertility rate you have. So if there’s a bit of a pooch your partner has been bugging you to lose, it may not hurt to consider it. Just be sure to just live as healthy a lifestyle as possible. Try taking vitamins to help maintain certain hormone levels. Avoid over-heating wherever you go, and above all, believe that there is hope.
