Cell Phone vs. Fertility

Today, I read something about how cell phones can affect the sperm productivity, and it all was very surprising to me.

The article I read started with telling how a group of researches found out that there is a link between cell phones and infertility, so this same group decided to look further in their researches and obtain more discoveries regarding this issue.

What those researchers did was take semen from men with fertility problems, and another from men without fertility problems. They separated the sperms they took into two different groups, and put the group to be tested close to a cell phone on a talk mode, and the other not exposed to a cell phone, but have similar conditions regarding the room temperature...etc. Then, the researches realized that the sperm which is close to the cell phone had decreased sperm movement and decreased percentage of living sperm.

They placed the phone 2 centimeters away from the sperm as it is the case when a man places his cell phone in his pocket and talks through an ear piece.

I believe that this discovery would probably change where we or our partners put our cell phones.
