Obese Men are Prone to Infertility

Hormone secretion can be affected by too much cholesterol in the blood. Among those that would be affected is the hormone that is responsible for the production of the sperm. High cholesterol volume does not only hamper the flow of blood into the reproductive system, it also deprives the reproductive organ with the much needed oxygen.

Obesity does not only symbolize unhealthy living, it also projects a bad eating habit. This result of a bad eating habit has been associated with arthritis, cancer, heart disease and hypertension. Infertility is just among the many abnormalities and illnesses that can sprout from this obesity.

Aside from low sperm counts, most over-weight men have been found to have more abnormal sperm cells than men who are not over-weight. The DNA anomalies are also found to be the suspect for obese men who are infertile. Hence, over-weight men should try their best to reduce before this become irreversible.
