Keeping in mind that infertility affects not only women, but men as well, you may be forced into one of those roles (as in many relationships) that leave you or your partner blaming each other for the inability to conceive. You should consider the fact that in a few cases, the causes of infertility are not even known. Some cases of infertility do not even show up until the last possible minute. It could be after you’ve already thought you were pregnant or have gotten pregnant. You still may not be able to carry a baby to full term. Even with the greatest of technology today, there are still ways that infertility cannot be discovered until it is too late. Just be sure that if you are trying to conceive, that you ask the doctor to try all possible testing, even if you feel like you are wasting his/her time, ask. You deserve to know your options.
