The ill Effects of Infertility

Infertility is a problem faced by women who find it difficult or impossible to conceive a child. Infertility causes many diseases, psychological strain and the related health risks.

Infertile women have high instances of ovarian and uterine cancer. Research has shown that infertile women have a higher likelihood of developing cancer. Fallopian tube dysfunction and pelvic inflammatory disease are more common in women who suffer infertility.

The other major problem with infertility is the psychological strain it puts on the couple. Women find themselves in an emotional trap with a combination of pain anger and fear. Men find themselves in a helpless position unable to control the overwhelming emotions of their partner.

Fertility drugs are another option that couples with infertility problems turn to. Fertility drugs have the side effects of multiple births and the complicated condition of ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome. Infertility is a stressful condition both physically and emotionally.
