Irregular Periods and Infertility

Irregular periods are a sign of potential infertility. But do not worry; there is a solution for everything. But first, you need to check in order to make sure whether or not you have serious and continuous irregular periods. If your menstrual cycle is shorter than 21 days or longer than 36 days, then you have an irregular period.

After you have made sure of the problem, you can then go to your doctor for a most suitable treatment. It would be either a certain medication to make your menstruation regular and normal, or a surgery.

But don’t rush things. While irregular periods might indeed be a cause of infertility, it also might not be. So, all you have to do before pointing infertility when you have irregular periods is to wait for a whole year, if you did not get pregnant by yourself, you can go ahead and visit a doctor for a treatment.
