Infertility problem goes beyond the failure to get pregnant

MANY countries around the globe the infertility problem goes beyond the failure of women to get pregnant. According to studies, some women who could not conceive a child do not only have to bear the sad reality of not getting pregnant but also other aspects of their life as well. In some developing countries, the consequences of infertility can include ostracism, physical abuse and even suicide. Some nations are treating child bearing so special that they consider infertility as a personal failure of the woman involve that would result into curse and ostracism.

A number of women who suffers infertility problem were treated like a dogs by their own country that they are banned in weddings and other important gatherings. According to the traditions of these countries, it is a sin to invite in gatherings women who could not produce their own child. Childlessness can also be an enormous economic problem in developing countries where Social Security, pensions and retirement-savings plans are not the norm. In these places, women who do not have their own child are not treated well by their government who shares its wealth only to their childbearing citizens.

The sad reality on women infertility does not only center on the failure of woman to bore a child like in Muslim culture, where the stigma follows childless women even after death: women without children are not always allowed to be buried in graveyards or sacred grounds. With these studies, you cannot help but pity those women who suffer this type of injustice in life. Instead of offering comfort on these women, some of their fellow citizens are even prolonging their pain on the way they are treated. While it is hard to argue with tradition, people just need to realize that these infertile women are human beings who deserve love and respect.

Women who suffer from infertility needs understanding and love not curse and blame. The public needs to understand that many of these women do not wish infertility to inflict them but it is fate that made them suffer this type of medical dilemma.
