Dealing With a Person Who is Infertile

If one of your friends or loved ones is suffering from infertility, you have to be sensitive about how they feel; you often have to calculate your sentences before you say them for they could ruin their moods and frustrate them without you realizing.

People who are unfortunate when it comes to having babies need all the help from their friends and family. Your mission is to make them feel good about themselves and give them hope as much as you can; they need it.

For example, you can always be there for them when they need to talk about the procedures they had to go through for it can be very tiring at times. You could drop by on each occasion you can to help them in their chores or cook for them while their doctor asked them to rest in bed. You could also show them how much you care by often checking up on them, sending them emails, e-cards or giving them a phone call.

But be careful not to do any of these things: minimize their pain, advise them to adopt, or underestimate their devastation.

We all need support when we go through bad situations, and infertility is one of the worst.
