Compared to those women who got pregnant again six to 12 month afterwards were more likely to miscarry a second time than those who conceived within six months of their initial miscarriage.

Of course - your mileage may vary. In other words, you may have some extenuating factors that make your situation different. But if your doc recommends wating for a couple months, ask why. Is it his or her standard protocol or is there a specific reason in your case why waiting would be beneficial?
