It is a natural tendency for couples who are together to desire a child. If a couple is unable to conceive after six months to a year of unprotected intercourse, they need to get medical advice regarding infertility. Infertility is a dysfunction that has many solutions. Each couple has a unique reason for being infertile and there are solutions for most causes. With medical help a couple can conceive a child.

The first step that doctors take in the treatment of infertility is to rule out any disorder, deficiency or dysfunction in the reproductive organs of the male or the female. If there is a problem it is medically or surgically corrected. Drugs like chlomid are the first option. If drug treatment fails then hormone injections are given. If injections fail to produce results, doctors will I assist reproduction by the advanced Intra Uterine Insemination, IUI or In Vitro fertilization IVF.
