New Reality Show Defines Family

What does it mean to be part of a family? Does it require a child? Two adults? At least a furry child? There’s a new ABC show that’s casting now – the title “Find My Family.”
Full disclosure – I was on “Wife Swap” two years ago, so forgive me if I’m a bit of a skeptic.
The premise of the show is to "bring families back together." ABC describes the show as “Were you adopted? Did you make the difficult decision to give a child up for adoption? Have you been searching for a parent, child, or sibling and exhausted your resources? If so, award-winning producers want to hear about your experiences for the new ABC show, Find My Family.

The show will explore the profound issues involved when families separate and the lengths some go to reunite, find answers, and discover lost family. Are you searching for a loved one? Do you know someone who is? If you or someone you know is seeking answers, please consider sharing your story with millions who might benefit. We can make a difference.”
What is a family?
It will be interesting to see how this show defines it for us.
