Celebrities who suffered Infertility

Celebrities often give the impression that they are far removed from life’s problems including the problems of infertility. More and more celebrities are coming out with their stories about infertility and the ways in which they overcame their problem.

Brooke Shields who suffered cervical scarring was unable to conceive for a long time and her first baby was conceived using IVF. David and Courtney Cox-Arquette had a baby after a long battle with infertility. Angela Basset and her television star husband had a baby after battling infertility for seven years. Among older celebrities Supermodel Christine Brinkley gave birth at 45 using assisted reproductive methods and Cheryl Tiegs gave birth to twins at the age of 52. The British Actress Jane Seymour gave birth to twins at the age of 45. Celebrities are in a better position to overcome infertility because assisted reproductive surgery is often very expensive and not affordable to everyone.
