Clomid is the most commonly used drug to treat infertility. It is a selective estrogen receptor and modulator that regulates the activity of the reproductive hormone estrogen. The side effects are multiple births,
ovarian cancer and weight gain. Letrozole is similar to clomid. The side effects are multiple births, ovarian cancer and ovarian cysts. Gonadotropin stimulators are hormones that are injected to assist reproduction. The side effects are blood clots ovarian enlargement ,cysts and multiple births. Lupron is usually given as an injection. The side effects are mood alteration, headaches and vaginal dryness. The symptoms abate after the medication is discontinued. Parlodol is a small tablet given to treat infertility. The side effects are nasal stuffiness and light headedness.
