Endometriosis affects more than 5.5 million women in North America. According to the National Institutes of Health, It is one of the leading causes of infertility. It’s a pretty miserable condition, where tissue that behaves like the cells lining the uterus (endometrium) grows in other areas of the body, causing pain, irregular bleeding, and fertility problems.

The Endometriosis Association has a helpful free brochures available on their website. They also provide support, newsletters, and information about the latest research being conducted on endometriosis.
